Lekulam — A Day Program With Warmth You Can Feel
Lekulam is Chemlu's day program center at 216 Congers Road in New City, serving adults with developmental disabilities from Rockland County and surrounding areas — some participants travel from NYC and upstate to attend. The name means "for everyone," and that's how the program is built: around each person's goals, pace, and personality.

Our Day Habilitation Without Walls program — structured days built around real community experiences: outings, volunteering, errands, recreation, and social time, with skill-building woven into all of it.
Pre-Vocational Services
Work-readiness skills at each person's pace: routines and schedules, communication, workplace behavior, and hands-on practice — in the center and out in real settings.
Skill-Building
Daily living skills, self-care, safety awareness, and independence goals from each participant's Life Plan — tracked and celebrated.
Social Development
Friendships, group activities, and creative programming in a warm, inclusive environment where every participant is known by name.
