Chemlu was built on the belief that individuals with disabilities deserve not only support—but also dignity, opportunity, and the chance to thrive in their own way. Established in 2003, we have spent over two decades serving New York’s Lower Hudson Valley region and New York City.

2002

Chemlu opens its doors with a focus on providing home-based services to OPWDD-eligible individuals in Orange and Rockland counties.

2012

Operating under the name Maaluh, we expand into Brooklyn, deepen our partnerships with care coordinatoras, and grow our staff network.

2021

Lekulam Day program is launched in Rockland County, offering a new model of group programming with a creative and personal.
